ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Madelyn Dowell, and I'm a freshman at Hardin-Simmons University majoring in Nursing and minoring in Forensics. I'm from Plano, Tx which is just north of Dallas. I have three sisters and a dog. My older sister's name is Alyxe and she's 21, my younger sister's name is Olyvia and she's 17, my youngest sister's name is Jayme and she's 14. We have a dog named Boomer and he is an 8 year old half lab half weenie dog. My parents are Jimmy and Danna Dowell and they have been married for 24 years this May. Family is really important to me, we're all really close and love hanging out together and doing things as a family.
I'm on the women's soccer team at HSU. As a team we made it to the final four this past season, but I unfortunately did not get to participate this past season because I stress fractured the neck of my femur. I had to medically red shirt the season so I didn't lose the year of playing. In my free time I hang out with the other freshman girls on the team, we've become a very close group of friends that spend time together both on and off the field.

Hey Madelyn! I think it's very admirable that you got through and recovered from such a tragic injury like you did. I'm very glad that we have gotten so close over the last semester with being on the same soccer team! I love you so much! I also find it very interesting that you have four sister and y'all dont really look alike, also I think its cool that you have a dog that is a weenie lab. I can't wait to see you grow as a student and become a nurse, I know you're going to be really good at helping people in that field.
